20 Must-Haves in my Lowtox Medicine Cabinet

Looking to clean up your medicine cabinet, or find more holistic-minded options? This post is for you! Over the counter pharmaceutical medications are hiding toxic ingredients in plain sight under the “inactive ingredients” lists.

I worked hard to learn and avoid toxic ingredients in food and was shocked to see them lurking in my medicine cabinet! Ingredients to avoid:

  • Artificial Dyes – red 40, blue no. 1 etc.
  • Artificial sweeteners – sucralose, ace-k, aspartame
  • Polyethylene glycol
  • Artificial flavors
  • Ultra processed, GMO sugar syrups
